Presidents Report
Beach Erosion- We met down at the beach with the county and the state. We
are waiting to hear back from Glen for the report. That will need to be
submitted to Pierce County. Then it will go to Fish and Wildlife. It could be
months before we know the outcome.
Park Ranger Report (Ken Brown)
Procedure’s manual for Taylor Bay Equipment is continuing to be worked on.
It’s a great idea to get all of the information in people’s minds into written
format.
o Currently working on documenting the procedures for the front Gate,
it’s complicated.
o The Sewer plant will not have a complete procedures manual since we
hire someone to do that. But, will document the equipment and how it
works. If something should happen to the operator, we would contact
Carl Jones from the State to have someone come in to handle the
necessary functions.
Looking for someone to coordinate the Landscape Company that does the
maintenance for Taylor Bay. Any Volunteers?
Tractor is back and repaired. The bad tire was fixed.
Old Business
Wall heater in the sewer plant was not working and a replacement was
bought. It has a two year warranty. The information should be put into the
procedure manual.
The President has volunteered to pick up the chemicals instead of paying for
all the trucking.
We will get rid of all the empty barrels and we should be paid for those
New Business
The tank cleaning for the bottom and the sides was scheduled but they forgot
to bring out the replacement stainless steel floats. So it has been postponed

o This is being paid partially from the dues and partly from the special
assessment.

o Ours is scheduled for Sunday July 14th from 1 to 4 at Fire house
o 1:30 to 2:30 is low tide

the community
