replaced in the water Pump house (not sew plant as previously noted), it was

exchanged and the new one has a 2 year warranty.

Old Paving Assessment

1 member owes $2458 (attorney)

We are currently over budget by $152 but we are paid up for our property

taxes

We did the tank cleaning about $2700 from the budget and about $3200

out of the special assessment. We should be able to go without cleaning

next year. We also replaced the floats and chain with some stainless steel

parts that should last indefinitely.

Non-compliance Letters

5 members received letters for by law compliance issues and taking care

of their properties

1 member responded very favorably

1 letter to member for muddy drive way that is being tracked onto TBBC

roads

3 letters for vegetation maintenance for ditch assess

5 letters went out to members who were behind on their payment plans

1 lien was filed on a member who was behind on payments

Presidents Report

Discussion on the tank coating, Bill and Steve have a guy coming out

Wednesday morning to look at the tank. For an estimate on coating the tank

at the sewer plant.

Also looking at one of the diffusers in the sewer plant to assess the situation

before we get a plumber down there for some work.

Park Ranger Report (Ken Brown)

Procedure’s manual for Taylor Bay Equipment is continuing to be worked on.

Ken is putting lots of pictures of the various equipment in the book

LeRoy has been very helpful in providing information on how things work and

how they need to be maintained.

Alice and Jerry will be helping to proof read the information

The sewer plant will be done in a bit less detailed format as we have hired

personnel to run the plant. None of us need to know how it all runs but will

document all the equipment and what it is for and will list phone numbers of

necessary names in case of emergency.

Old Business

Beach repair permits- discussion on how things are moving forward. It has

been turned into the county and now to fish and wildlife. Glen code should

get back to us next week then we need to take it back to the county and then

we can start getting bids on the work that needs to be done.

Shoreline living seminar

o Ours is scheduled for Sunday July 14th from 1 to 4 at the Longbranch

Improvement Club

o 1:30 to 2:30 is low tide

o Will go on to the beach at low tide to see marine life on our beach

o 15 to 20 people have already signed up for this seminar

o There is still room for more if anyone wishes to sign up

Reserve study

o In reading the RCW’s- An association is encouraged to have a reserve

study. Cannot find any place where it is required.

o We do not have the assets to do the study

o Once we do it and file it then we must do it on an on going basis.

o The board has decided to not move forward with the reserve study at

this time.

o We will just have to live on special assessments if something comes up

that is needed.

Financial Audit- the Yearly and 6 month reports from Colliers has just been

completed. It was turned over to the CPA for an audit and should be done

some time in early May

New Business

An Evening with the board by Association Services

Facilitates home owners associations in compliance with laws, enforcement

tools, and other issues that arise in communities

May 7th at 6:30pm a free class will be held for board members in Puyallup

o Several board members will be going

May 2013 members meeting

o Will be held on Saturday May 4th at the Longbranch Church

o 2 positions will open up for re-election (Wilbur and Harold both are

willing to continue)

o The last appointed member, Shannon, will be voted on by membership

in May

o Refreshments will be organized by Sue

Discussion on vegetation cutting on the bank above the beach parking lot.

Home owner sent a letter. Sue will answer the letter.

Leroy has volunteered to take care of the arrangements for the 4th of July

Parade. He will be taking donations for ice cream.
