President Report:
Unger /Skagg has started to clean up his lot but more still needs to be done.
The property is up for sale.
Sue is merging the photos into the procedures manual that is being made.
Ken has worked hard to get the manual made and current
Old Business:
We had to revise our plans for the permits for the beach stabilization project
because the Department of Fisheries would not let us do some of the things
we wanted to do. It’s being re engineered. The revision has been submitted
and now we are waiting for our next steps.
Financial audit is being worked on. He has been called twice this week.
New Business:
Plans for Sewer plant upgrades are in the works, Steve will be meeting with
Carl Jones from the Department of Ecology.
A new sewer plant operator contract is being looked at.
A new policy is being put in place with fines up to $40 per day. It replaces the
old policy. This is for any non-compliance issue. This upholds the bi-laws
o Discussion on how to base the fines for the severity of the non
compliance issue
o Discussion on follow through and how important it is
Reminder that there is no longer a burn pile at the beach and there is a
Pierce County regulation that states there is no burning of garbage (plastic,
food, cans, building materials, etc). This will fall under the non compliance
fines.
Discussion on the state of one member’s yard/property. Ivan was invited to
come to the meeting for discussion and he did not show up. The vegetation
and fence seems to be encroaching on neighboring properties. There have
been neighbors with complaints. He told one neighbor that he has been
broken into.
Shannon has agreed to look up the county records of wetland areas in Taylor
Bay Beach Club
Discussion on written requests, for non compliance issues, must be
measurable
